When I Coloured in the World

When I Coloured in the World is a simple yet profound poem about changing the world by the award-winning Iranian poet Ahmadreza Ahmadi, alongside beautiful illustrations from Ehsan Abdollahi. A child uses crayons to colour and change the world, rubbing out the bad things and replacing them with good. Boredom gives way to play, crying to laughter, war to peace and darkness to light. With a little colour and imagination, the world becomes a kinder, more hopeful place!

Alive Again

Alive Again is a child’s profound exploration of hope and the cyclical nature of life in a touching conversation with his father. When the blossom falls from the trees, a little boy wonders, will it come back? And when the rain stops, is it gone forever? How do we find that grain of hope that good things might return? The little boy’s questions are answered as spring, once again, brings blossom to the world and rain pours down from the sky. This philosophical poem explores questions about the cycles of life and creates hope that good things will come once again.
