When I was little I had an annual and one of the stories inside was a version of The Twelve Dancing Princesses. I always loved this story and have been on the lookout for a really lovely version for my daughter. I’ve had this beautiful modern edition, The Restless Girls by Jessie Burton and Angela Barrett, for quite a while and I adore it. Recently, we were sent this children’s HB edition by @tiny_owl_publishing @thamesandhudson. It is gorgeous! Written by @jackiemorrisartist and illustrated by @iamehsanabdollahi. Beth and I loved reading this magical reimagining of an old favourite and the illustrations are exquisite. #SecretoftheTatteredShoes #OneStoryManyVoices
