Pre-order The New Baby and Me

What’s more exciting than a new sibling? The five brothers in Tiny Owl’s picture book, The New Baby and Me, would say that nothing is. They can’t wait to meet their new arrival, and we can’t wait for you to meet our new arrival either.
Five siblings imagine what their new baby brother will be like. Will he be an explorer, a scientist, an artist, a pirate, or a dreamer? They all want their baby brother to be just like them. But when the new baby finally arrives they will be in for a bit of a surprise. This delightful book is perfect for everyone, particularly a family with a new baby on the way. It encourages the idea that children can be themselves regardless of gender, and it features gorgeous collage activities which the whole family can do to welcome a new sibling home.

It is illustrated by the award-winning Iranian illustrator Hoda Haddadi. Hoda has won several international awards, including the first prize at the Belgrade International Illustration Biennial, the New Horizons Award at the Bologna Book Fair, two medals at the Nooma Festival (Japan) and the golden plaque of the Biennial Illustration Bratislava. She has also illustrated another book for Tiny Owl: A Rainbow in My Pocket.
The New Baby and Me was written by Christine Kidney who after graduating from Cambridge University spent twenty years working in publishing as an editor. She works and lives in the Cotswolds with her family.
We hope you love our new arrival just as much as we do.
The New Baby and Me will be published on the 12th February 2018 and is available to pre-order now.
