You may have read this week’s guest blog, From London To Tehran, by our Persian editor, Ali Seidabadi. Unfortunately, Ali will be waiting a bit longer to discover the streets of London he wrote about, as his trip to the UK has been put on hold. Due to his visa being rejected, Ali Seidabadi has had to cancel his appearance at the Edinburgh International Book Festival this month, and Tiny Owl’s Publishing event with him will also be postponed. Ali is a well-known, respected author and has travelled across Europe and Asia before, so it is upsetting, and confusing, that his first trip to the UK has been denied. Hopefully this is something that will be rectified soon!

However, while Ali Seidabadi may not be able to make Edinburgh’s International Book Festival, Anahita Teymorian, author of A Bird Like Himself and The Clever Mouse, shall be in attendance; along with Delaram Ghanimifard, co-founder of Tiny Owl Publishing.
