Do you know about the origins of The Phoenix of Persia?

In our two-part podcast Exploring the Shahnameh, we spoke to an expert on Iranian classics and researcher at UCL Mateen Arghandehpour, about the epic poem that inspired The Phoenix of Persia. Listen to the first part, which introduces the Shahnameh, here. Find out all about the Phoenix of Persia project here.

In part two, we heard more about the significance of the Shahnameh to both Persian and world literature.
